Who We Are
The Institute for Preparing Heirs was founded for the purpose of training, education and research on family dynamics and wealth transfer.
Families traditionally prepare assets for heirs…
we prepare heirs for assets.™

More importantly, you’ll be able to address these wealth transfer outcomes:
The Need To Prepare Families Of Wealth
Traditional wealth management and estate planning focus on transferring wealth, minimizing taxes and defining ownership and control. Professional advisors are very skilled at making sure that wealth properly transfers to heirs.
What has been missing from wealth transfer planning is a comprehensive discussion on whether or not the heirs are ready to receive and manage the assets they will inherit. The subject of preparing heirs for the transfer of wealth has been largely overlooked by families and their advisors. Without in-depth preparation of heirs, estate planning is only partially complete.
